City Symbol

The city symbol is designed in the shape of the Chinese bellflower using 'K', the first letter of Kakegawa as a motif, and symbolizes the city's vision for a city that connects the sea, mountains and roads creating dreams and the future. It was created in 2005 along with the amalgamation of the old city and two local towns.
